How to play

1. Start a 1v1 room. One player is the host, the other the guesser.
2. Both see a short, strange story (the 'surface'). Only the host sees the full truth behind it.
3. The guesser asks yes/no questions out loud. The host taps Yes, No, Doesn't matter or Getting close — and can drop a hint.
4. When the guesser can explain what happened, the host calls it and the truth is revealed. Then swap.

Play it in a Doki voice room

1. Open Doki on iPhone, Android or doki.gg and go to your room. Everyone has their own room link.
2. Send friends the link; they can join from the app or a browser.
3. Tap Play a game and pick Lateral Puzzle. Everyone who wants in taps I'm in, then tap Go.

• Start broad (Did someone die? Is it at night?) before chasing details.
• Every word in the story is there for a reason.
