DokiTerms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Doki (doki.gg and the Doki apps), operated by Serene Technologies Pte. Ltd. ("Serene", "we", "us"). By using Doki you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Doki.
1. What Doki is
Doki has live voice rooms with party games, and creator shops: people ("creators") can publish a shop at doki.gg/<handle> listing services such as game coaching, playing together, voice chat or party-game hosting, and other people ("customers") can join a creator's queue and meet them in a voice room.
For shops, Doki is a tool. We do not provide the services listed in shops, do not employ creators, and are not a party to any arrangement between a creator and a customer.
2. Who can use Doki
You must be at least 18 years old. Doki is for adults only. We remove accounts that belong to anyone under 18.
3. Your account
You can play as a guest with a nickname or sign in with Google or Apple. A guest account lives on your device or browser: if you clear its data you may lose access, including to your shop. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping it secure.
4. How you behave
- No harassment, hate, threats or impersonation.
- No illegal, sexually explicit or hateful content, and nothing involving minors.
- No spam, scams or unsolicited advertising.
- Do not try to access other accounts or disrupt, reverse-engineer or probe Doki, and do not use bots or scripts except through interfaces we provide.
- You are responsible for what you say in voice rooms and what you post. Do not record others without their consent.
5. Shops (for creators)
- Describe your services and prices accurately, and only list what you will actually deliver.
- Deliver what a customer queued for, or cancel promptly.
- Only publish content you have the right to use.
- You are responsible for any licences, taxes and laws that apply to your services.
- Shops and services are reviewed. We may reject, hide or suspend a shop or service that breaks these Terms.
6. Not allowed in shops
- Account boosting, playing on another person's account, or account sharing, and anything else that breaks a game publisher's rules. Coaching and playing together are fine.
- Sexual services or sexual content.
- Gambling or betting.
- Illegal goods or services.
- Misleading prices, or taking payment for services you do not intend to deliver.
- Contacting or serving anyone under 18.
7. Payments for creator services
Doki does not process, hold or transfer money for creators' services. A creator may add payment links from third-party providers; customers see them after joining that creator's queue.
Payment, refunds and disputes are between the creator and the customer, and the payment provider's own terms apply. If you believe a shop is a scam, report it to us.
Doki does not charge creators a fee at present. If that changes, we will tell you before it applies.
8. Virtual items (Gems)
Doki may sell Gems and other virtual items through the App Store and Google Play. They have no monetary value, cannot be transferred outside Doki and are non-refundable except where the law requires. We may change or discontinue virtual items.
9. Queues and voice rooms
A place in a queue is not a guarantee of service. Voice rooms are live audio between the people in the room. These Terms apply in rooms too.
10. Reports and enforcement
You can report a user, a shop or a room. We review reports and may remove content, close shops or suspend accounts, with or without notice, and may share information with authorities where the law requires.
11. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. You give Serene a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and transmit it to run and promote Doki.
12. Ending your use
You can stop using Doki and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive will survive.
13. Disclaimers
DOKI IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING AS TO ANY SERVICE ARRANGED BETWEEN CREATORS AND CUSTOMERS. We do not promise that Doki will be uninterrupted or error-free.
14. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SERENE IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF DOKI OR FROM ANY SERVICE, PAYMENT OR DISPUTE BETWEEN CREATORS AND CUSTOMERS.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the place where Serene is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country still apply.
16. Changes
We may update these Terms. The date above shows the latest version. Using Doki after a change means you accept it.
