Doki ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Doki.gg mobile application and website (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service.

Information We Collect

• Account information: email address and display name when you sign in with Apple, Google, or email.
• Profile photo (optional): if you choose to upload one via camera or photo library. We do not access camera or photos without your explicit action.
• Voice recordings: when you play the voice-chat game mode, audio is processed in real-time to enable the guessing gameplay and is not stored long-term.
• Game activity: game rounds, chat messages, purchase history (Gems), and basic device info (OS version, app version) for diagnostics.

How We Use Information

• To provide core gameplay (matchmaking, real-time chat, voice rooms).
• To process in-app purchases of Gems via Apple App Store and Google Play.
• To prevent fraud, abuse, and moderate content.
• To improve the Service — we may use aggregated analytics.

Information Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with:

• Apple and Google for in-app purchase processing.
• OpenAI for game-related content generation (transcription and word lists). Audio snippets may be sent to OpenAI's API during gameplay and are not retained by us beyond the game round.
• LiveKit for real-time voice transmission between players in the same room.
• Law enforcement when legally required.

Data Retention

Game activity is kept for up to 90 days. Account data is kept as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account inside the app, or by emailing [email protected].

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Security

We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) for data in transit. Passwords (when applicable) are hashed. No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

You can access, correct, or delete your data by contacting [email protected]. Residents of the EU/EEA, UK, and California have additional rights under GDPR/CCPA including the right to portability and to object to processing.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app.
